In other major developments, The Bull defeated the regaining champion Mikey Mudd to capture the top prize in the company. The last time The Bull held the SAW Heavyweight Championship was in June 2004. Apparently all of the hard work The Bull has been doing over the last few years has paid off!

There was also a new SAW Cruiserweight Champion crown at the Summer Time Slam Down. Commissioner Richard Willard declared the top two contenders to the championship and had them face off for the Champion. Ian Daniels was able to pull out the victory and is now a two-time Cruiserweight Champion.

VERMONT WOMEN'S TITLE RETURNS!

The SAW VT Women's Title has been purchased by an independent entity. Once the deal was finalized this past week, a meeting was arranged by the title owner with the commities from three different Vermontbased Wrestling Federations: Slam All-Star Wrestling- out of Highgate, Vermont; In Your Face Wrestling- out of Rutland, Vermont; and Conquest Pro Wrestling- out of Bennington, Vermont. The three federations and the owner of the title came to an agreement. The title will now be known as the VermontWomen's Championship. All three promotions will recognize the championship. A new women's champion will be crowned in the coming months and the champion will be defending the title in all three federations.
